I did a little looking around the site today.  Half of the featured shops that scroll along the bottom do not have any listings.  Out of 16, 8 have listings, 7 have NO listings, and 1 shop is closed entirely.  And I continue to see "Image Expired" listings on the front page.  WHY isn't anyone monitoring this??  This can't possibly give buyers a lot of confidence in our site.

I've been here since June 2017, after being on Etsy for 8 years where I did quite well.  I finally had 1 sale here last month.  When are we getting the upgrade/improvements promised?  I've tried to be patient and optimistic, but it's becoming increasingly difficult to stay positive.

Does anyone have any new info?

I understand your frustration, Vintagerepeats. I do agree that the store front has to look professional by not having things like "Image Expired". They did a nice job on the Artyah banner for Christmas although that need a bit of a change now too. We all understand that it is a lot of work back stage, but it is what will entice buyers to stop and browse.
I'm waiting for positive info also however a site upgrade is not the whole answer to attracting buyers.

Martha, I agree about the Christmas banner.  I actually loved it.  And I agree that the updates are not the whole answer.  It's just, in the meantime, I don't understand why someone can't monitor the front page so that buyers who do come to shop on Artyah feel like it's a legit, professional venue.  I don't think it instills a lot of confidence when Featured Shops are empty (or closed) and "Image Expired" pics are on the front page.  I appreciate all that Craig has done and I think Artyah still has potential.  A few tweeks here and there in it's current stage would help us now.

Yes, you are right, Vintagerepeats. We have to keep up appearances while the other work is being done.

I like the new banner. It is clean and spacious. Looks like a fresh start.

I agree!  Nicely done!!  At some point, it would be great to include some vintage or antique items to the banner so that it represents all of our shops.  Thank you, Craig!!

Edited for additional comment:

I just noticed that one of my vintage brooches is the featured item for Antiques and Vintage.  Thank you, Craig!!

Nothing so far. I think a lot of us are hoping to get an update soon.

Of the shops 'featured' on the homepage, four have no listings, and one apparently doesn't exist. I have made a note of the names, but hesitate to put them here, as I know some shops are holding back and not listing until the updated site is ready.

I wouldn't post the shop names here.  If anybody wants to know which ones they are, it's easy enough to check out on their own.  My internet went out for a few days this week.  I put my shops on vacation via my cell phone.  I was very surprised that the notice on my shop was:

"Seller "Vintage Repeats" has no listings."

It should say that the shop is on VACATION.  Otherwise, it looks like the shop is inactive/closed.  I hope Craig will add this to the list of changes he's been working on.

An update would be nice.

Thanks for the heads up about vacation, Vintage Repeats. I'm taking a break for two weeks from March 21 to April 7 so I'll see what it says when I do that. Maybe I can write something on the shop page to let clients know.

Yes, that's what I did recently, when I had a couple of Christmas markets to do.
The shops I was referring to, weren't yours (Vintage Repeats and Martique), and, as I said, I wouldn't want to put the names on here for the very reasons you mention.

Just a suggestion:  I do not put my shop on vacation, I post a note in the profile description that says I am on vacation from xxx to xxx and any purchases will be shipped after xxx.  That way it is not closed or vacate and people look elsewhere.  Right now I have no listings here.

That is a good idea. 123 Gemstones except I am concerned that people do not read the profile description and if they come to one of my items via Pinterest, for example, they will not be on my store front page to read the profile.
I think for this year I will do the vacation mode thing.
It's not like the door needs repair from being beaten down with sales.
