It is getting expensive to continually hang in waiting for the relaunch & updates to kick in.  I'm not sure how much longer I can pay for something that isn't giving back.  Would love if Craig or the Mrs would just come on and give an update every now and then

I hear you. For know I am  just letting things sit, I dont think I will relist or add anymore until tings get going.  I agree it would be nice to hear from Craig once in a while being left in the dark is kinda hard to keep  the creative juices flowing without any feed back on what is going on or a time line.

I left my listings expire and will wait for the new platform before I list again.

I would love to not relist.  I am letting some with fewer views expire and once the new format is in place, I'll make some groupings for those.  It would be nice if the vintage items were given the same "facetime" that the handmade stuff gets.  Oh well.  I'm finally starting to get used to that.
I am thinking I'll let most of my items expire and slow down on the outside social media until it is up and running with all the new bells & whistles, then have to relist a bunch at once.

I was one of the ones that said I would be in for the long hall, but nearly two years without a sale is getting me down a bit. My listings will all be expired by the end of March so I don't know what to do......I ask myself what would Craig do if his business did not have a sale for two years, would he keep relisting?????

I would love to stay but the views are dire and I am not even sure that the ones that I have a real views anyway.

Does anyone that lists in £££ rather than $$$$ get any sales on here?

Let your listing expire and keep your spot here.  That is what I did, so I have my space when things turn around.

No sales for me either. I just keep rel-listing and hoping . I really want this site to work. I’m gonna keep my chin up and give it more time, granted I’m in a position to do so, I remember when Etsy was startling out, I had items posted for two years without a sale until it budged. Hopefully it will happen.
Maybe we should start some promotion “games” in the threads here? A team I am on through Etsy is actuve that way and it seems to help drive traffic. They do “twitter Tuesday’s” “ Pinterest Wednesday” “Instagram Monday’s” sort of thing. Would any one participate in that sort of thing?

I have let my items expire. It doesn't matter that you only spend a couple dollars to relist because after awhile I feel like I am driving down the road and tossing dimes out the window. I like many others said I was staying for the long haul but you can only do that for so long. Keeping my spot and still hoping it becomes something soon.

Hi Twilight Faerie,

Sorry but I think participating in social media games are a waste of my time as the only views I got from social media were the bot views and they do nothing to help. So I will not be joining you.   I do believe that it depends on what you make and sell so perhaps it is my type of items that don't do well with SM.

Wishing you the best if you go ahead with it.

To my knowledge, Craig & Ann (? is it) are not rich and doing this on those dimes and their own.  So, we've (family decision) decided I will continue listing & renewing.  There have been no sales and fewer and fewer views.  However, I think when it gets up and running for real it will be what we all are hoping for.
I am so tired of the other site and the fees, untested changes, metered views & sales & the lack of transparency where all of these are concerned.  I also no longer want to compete with the cheap imported stuff.  I sell vintage and just cannot afford it.
I would love to be able to shift my feedback from there to here.  I think, this being a relatively unknown venue, folks are afraid to shop here as yet.
As for games, I do not tweet(?).  I am on facebook only because of my family's contact page, so do use those and reciprocate the love.  I think the best thing ever was the treasuries, but they don't exist any longer.
I do not want to let listings expire so there is an empty storefront.  I know as a buyer, when I see something I want on Pinterest or in search, I get very disappointed to go through the link only to find nothing there.
Thank you, Everyone for your insights!
Craig, if you are still monitoring the forums, would you please step in &/or pass on an update?

Personally I’ve had good luck with cross promotion through social media. Not just views being inflated, but actual exposure to folks I might not have otherwise, and from that sales and repeat buyers ( on Etsy).
Yes it does take time and some energy, however it can have its payoffs when folks are participating. Just a thought.

I agree with Lustful Jewels - it may be,slow here but I have vanished without a trace on etsy. Very few views, even fewer sales on a site where I used to do quite well. The recent corporatization of Teams pretty much finished it for me. I am trying -- again -- to make a point of posting stuff (mine & others) on Pinterest in hopes of raising the ArtYah profile. Fingers crossed that Craig will be able to hang in and end up with a really successful site here.

I have been slowly moving the contents of my 4 shops (after 8 years) on Etsy here.  So, so unhappy there.  My biggest problem with Artyah is the lack of a shopping cart.  Have been hanging on with the hopes that that will be added soon. Craig has the right idea. I feel Artyah could really make it and am trying to keep the faith!

Yes, slowly is the word.  Eventually all will be moved.  With this weekends Etsy funds debacle, I will continue to move my stock here & other places away from Etsy.  Sure wish the shopping cart here were up and running.

Between the major forum changes and now I read this morning way over charging accounts, they seem to be running a muck.
