Letting my items run out then deleting my account. All I hear are crickets here. Tired of promoting. I don't have the products people are interesting in on the internet. I'll stick to craft fairs and flea markets. I do better there.

I check in every few months to see what the status is.  The site looks good and I am anxious to return with my vintage items as I am soooo done with Etsy.  Hopefully Artyah will be up and running very soon!

We haven't hear anything from Craig in quite a while now

That's true, Barb. I was hoping to see a Freeby listing day just to lift our spirits and pack the shelves of those who have not been posting lately.

I also feel sales statics on a shop would benefit everyone.  Right now a shop only has reviews IF a person leaves one, and if a shopper leaves this site reviews go with them.  Customers don't realize this a safe place to shop.  Sales numbers are an incentive.  Things have to change before I list again.

Gemstone,   I have lowered my item prices on almost everything.  If I still don't start getting sales, I am forced to close my shop after being on here 1 1/2 years.  The listings are costing more than what I can bring in on sales which are next to nothing.  I hate to leave ArtYah because I really do like the site but there has got to be decisions made when I am in the hole.

I wish you and all the others the best in sales!

Skydove, keep your shop,  I am sure upgrades will be made eventually, you can decide then and relist if it fits your needs.  I still have my shop it is on hold right now.

Hello everyone! I've been listing some new items here on Artyah and will continue to list my products. I've always liked the look and feel of Artyah, kinda reminds of the old days on E. I've all be given up on E having been there for 10+ yrs it seems impossible to be found anymore. I'm looking forward to the new year and the home page here on Artyah gives a good festive vibe so I'm hanging in there another year.

Happy Holidays!!

I still renew items as they expire, adding “new” items to Artyah as they expire on E. I’ve never had a sell on this platform. I’m seeing my efforts as an investment in patience. My sells on E have never recovered since 2015. A very slow drip of costumers over there. My views are higher on Artyah yet no actual sells. My hope is once the developers are paid for whatever the reconstruction is for Artyah, that Craig will turn to using finances for advertising. E created a developers playground, constantly tweaking and changing the code and appearance of the site, fixing what wasn’t broken, when that money should have been speant on advertising. Personally I love the organic feel of Artyah, a few things I’d like to see added here, but over all the site looks great and functions fine. Artyah just needs exposure. The old saying, you say something often enough it becomes gospel. That’s what Artyah needs. Back when E was at its hayday it was from users promoting the heck out of it. Certainly wasn’t Etsy paying for advertising. Granted the internet is more bloated with selling sites than back then so Artyah will have to not depend on just user promotion, there will have to be paid advertising. Not cheap and quite the endeavor. Sort of the dog chasing it’s tail, need adverting to make money, need money to pay for advertising.

Yes, I am ... would love to see this site get going and the only way that will happen is by promotion via it's sellers. I've added to my shop announcement and hopefully some of my past customers from other sites will check in and check out ArtYah. Must list a bunch more stuff, and have put that on my agenda from this day forward. YEAH!!!  Good Luck everyone!

I honestly don't know what to do concerning the site. Either to list or not to list. We haven't heart a word from Craig n a very long time.  It has been about a year and maybe 4 to 6 months since they started re building the site and we still don't know if it will get finished or not.

I would love to see it up and going but we are left wondering what to do.

I agree, Barb. It would be nice to get updates. After Christmas, Craig said they were 75% done. Are we up to 80% or 83% yet. Is there still progress? If we are all working to make a success of the new AY Emporium, it would be helpful to be kept up to date so that we can make plans for updating our shops also.

I guess all I can concern myself with what I can do, as long as this site is up I'm going to assume it's a go ahead. If I list one thing per day @ 10 cents per listing. Don't think that's going to break me and maybe, just maybe I'll sell something. I've always tried to think positive when it comes to my business and hopefully with all the changes elsewhere ....  who knows maybe people will realize that ArtYah has the potential to offer more handmade than resale stuff. [smile]

While I had intended to continue moving my things over, I am just not sure.  And, while I am still renewing items, I'm not sure I will continue that either.  Without some sort of contact from the powers that be that we are not being hung out to dry.....ie. collecting fees & nothing else, I'm afraid I just may let all of my pay as you go shops fade into the sunset.  Sorry to do that, but, I've been in since very early on with no sales, no help advertising and no updates, it is looking like it's time to cut my losses
