It is actually quite therapeutic… I love your shawl, I always had a hard time working with thin yarn. Your shawl looks like quite a bit of work!!

Cute bunny pincushion, love the eyes! I'm working on a pumpkin pin cushion. Just cut out the material. Will post photo when it's finished.

This is my latest shawl, still not quite finished but I had to take a photo of something else today so put this on the dummy to take a picture while I was at it - managed to take the wrong side so when I do finally finish it I must remember to do it from the other side

Thank you, it has been a lot of work, not sure I will be able to price it for the amount of hours involved and still have someone willing to pay the price. I think it is lace-weight yarn - metallic thread surrounded by a miniscule amount of yarn. I don't mind making with it but undoing is all but impossible as it attachs itself to itself somehow.

I have a cloche hat all knit, ready to be blocked and sewn together, one cabled mitten almost finished and 3" completed on another black hat.

I know what you mean about the yarn. I was making a boot topper with a fuzzy white yarn on the top and bottom. I messed up and tried to unravel it, impossible! I had to try and make it look like I meant to do that! I, also knit a shawl using sock weight yarn because I bought a cone of it. Took me forever. I decided to keep it for myself because no one would ever pay what I would have to charge for my time!

I can't crochet either but I can fake a nice edging when needed.

Bev and Lesley - I don't knit so we are quits I jumped in at the deep end when I started knitting and did two jumpers, about thirty five years ago now, one of which I still wear but I enjoy crochet much more.

Christine and Bev - it is nice that we make such different items and styles so we don't really compete for the same customers. I have a local friend on E. who makes the most exquisite lace shawls and spins and dyes her own yarn. Again, not competitors.
