Barb.  On etsy, they record visits now, rather than views.  That's the only reason you're seeing a lot less of them.  If one person looks at 30 things, you would see 30 before, now you see 1.

Auntmaymesattic.  All of my pics on etsy are 1500 on the largest side, and I use them all here with no problem.  I didn't have to change the size!

Gingerbaby.  I have some items listed on here that are also on etsy.  I make multiples of each item though, so when I sell one, I don't have to delete.

Thanks for your reply Barb.  It is not difficult for you to manage double listings in both markets?

No problem. It does take a lot more time but until ArtYah picks up that is probably what I will have to do

Once upon a time I had the same items on 7 venues at once. That is correct. 7 venues.

Then Google started supposedly penalizing this. So supposedly one has to change it up.

I do not think at this time it matters. What matters is pay to play.

Different customers at the different venues but now IMHO they not only play favorites with venues but with localities.

It is all a mess and quite frankly I am happy to get the sales I do.

With all the natural disasters lately especially happy and amazed.

Loading up the carts is a different gesture of good faith than it once was for sure.

My stuff is just getting older is how I mostly see it.

Reluctant hoarder in no rush! Sandy

I have mine on both Etsy and Artyah and am working on my Scheduled listings for more.  How I keep track is I have a spreadsheet that lists all my items.  Anything that is on ArtYah is highlighted in orange text; the others are black.  When an item sells, I enter the transaction number (Artyah has two less digits and starts with a 2, so it's easy to spot on the spreadsheet)

@JustmeToo, I've been getting many responses as to photo size and I appreciate your comments.  I might just have to decide to keep mine at 1200 in order to save some time.  But I believe it was Craig who told me a while back that photos should be 800 x 800 with 72 dpi; this was when I asked about setting up my gallery photos and what size they needed to be (800 x 400, 72 dpi).  I'll have to ask him again to see if this has changed.
