The problem with not being able to cancel a "Featured" option when renewing (or doing a "List Similar") persists. I did contact Craig about it a few days ago. He says he can unclick that button but I sure cannot. Bothersome to say the least. I will try to reach him about it again.

This is also the reason I am not re-listing a lot of my items.
There has to be a way to fix this.  I couldn't make the list similar items work either.
The only way I've found to fix this is to look at all past invoices for the featured listings charges,
 which is very time consuming.

I think we just figured out the problem.

People that are not able to uncheck the box for the feature item, do you own a Mac?

I have a PC and I am able to feature an item or remove the feature from the item.

Please let us know and we will work on fixing it.

Yes, we can feature and then remove the product from featuring, but that is before the listing expires. The problem is that after the listing has ended/expired, and we want to relist that we then cannot remove the feature. It is grayed out, or was the last time I tried, which was many months ago. Also, I've always used a PC and I had that problem.

Hmm. I just tried to edit it in a current listing (although one that has been renewed in the past). Box still greyed out and can't be changed. Some days I hate technology!

Happens on both my PC and my iPhone.

Once it’s “Featured”, then listed, the “Featured” section cannot be undone when you go to edit it.

The “Featured” section stays uneditable through the duration of the listing.

If you relist it as is, it will default to still being “Featured.”

Ok. I didn't realize that featured can't be edited out during the duration of the listing. Guess I never tried to do that.

I found a fix (sort of). I opened two windows and just copied the description from the listing I had ended to get out of the featured option and pasted into a new listing for same item. A bit time consuming but will let me relist those items. Sadly, I will not be buying a featured listing in the near future unless I am SURE the item is worth the inescapable cost.

Thank you all for your input. I am in talks with our programmers about this and will be able to get a much better resolution now that we have uncovered the root of the problem.

Thank you,

Craig
