I've been in forums, where people had multiple animated banners, that load slow, THAT was annoying 😂 - a few links and spaces and colors are whatever for me - and on mobile it makes no difference as they're not displayed.
But it is best to do whatever majority feels comfortable with.

I enjoyed this discussion and voted for 3 lines, but at the end of the day, it is up to each person.  I changed my signature colour for now, and will be making more changes later on.

I see the colour did not change, so I have some more work to do.  Everyone have a great evening!

I don't understand the fuss over it at all.........
I get that you might have to scroll a bit more for some signatures but, I don't think it is really that big of a deal. JMO

Hi Krochet-Kingdom

If you select the whole area it is easier to change the colour  you have about 11 lines I think in your signature as there are a lot of empty ones below the text, you need to delete or colour those as well I think for colour change to work.

Hi Lynne
It is not so much a fuss as a discussion [smile]    on mobile devices it does mean a LOT of scrolling in some instances to get to the next message.  If you look at the first few messages on the first page they are a lot easier to read than the later messages with Krochet-Kingdom's accidentally long signature - those empty lines underneath seem to appear by magic when you are editing signatures [biggrin]

I'm sorry that you have that problem. That answers my inner questions about your bold posts, which in computer-land is seen as yelling.[smile] Using a computer monitor becomes a challenge for most of us who are aging also. [frown] Never had a problem seeing up close, but have been noticing some blurriness. I'm still hanging on to using small icons on my screen too. At one time I had my resolution set to 125% to make everything larger. It made some windows in my fav graphics program display partially off-screen. It was a real pain to reposition them each time. Then I got a new (refurbished) monitor and was able to return to 100%. I guess you've tried adjusting your settings and resolutions on monitor and computer?

Hi Lynne, you did not step on anyone's toes, far from it. [smile]  I asked the question and we are discussing it, giving reasons for and against "any length" signatures and what we would prefer to see and why.

Yes I have. Some days are worse then others and so sometimes I set it to 125% or more. It really depends on the day. I use bold and black in my listings. No bright colors there![smile]

I prefer to have them as streamlined as possible.  I am glad that hyperlinks are allowed so that it isn't necessary to spell out the whole web address.

For those that don't know how to make a hyperlink on this forum:

1. type the word you want to display (JoeBcrafts)
2. Select that text then
3. Click the little "chain" icon (it is to the right of the 123 bullets and left of the green image button)
4. type in the address (http://artyah.com/seller/JoeBcrafts)
5. Click OK

I haven't figured out how to add links but in viewing them here I don't find them distracting. I like catwands approach - bold and color posts to make them stand out.
