I just got my first sale!! But, the only way I knew about it was through my email.  Is this the norm for informing me of sales or shouldn't I have received a notice in my message box? I usually only check my emails about once a week or so, I could have missed a sale and made a very unhappy customer.

Hi Judy
Congratulations on your sale.  Yes, we get notified by email and by the notification email message that funds have been deposited from Paypal. 

When you are logged into your shop I think you also see a message there, but cannot remember where, I normally check when I get the paypal email.

Hey Judy: I checked my msgs inbox back to 6/2016 and there were no msgs about sales. All I found in my dashboard were the invoices of sales:

Sales

As Christine said, when I get a PPal email alert and the website email alert, I go to the sales page in my seller dashboard. I don't expect an onsite msg of a sale. If I couldn't check my email daily, I'd sign in to my venue and check my sales invoices daily. I don't recall if I've gotten a site inbox msg at any other venue.

The PPal sales alerts have always been reliable, whereas some sites experience glitches where no sale email is sent. So I really depend on my PPal emails, and don't even have to get a website email to go and look.

Thank You I will check the sold section from know on each day I check my shop each day as I am updating.
