Where are all the warriors?  Seems as if no one is posting anything.  Maybe my weird way of thinking but when I see all the posts, I am thinking there is excitement in the air and accomplishments being done.  With all the quietness I am wondering why?  Hopefully, you are so busy with your shop, you don't have time to post.  In my own case....not so.  I'm still on high hopes though.

I was thinking the same thing, but I am guilty of not posting also. I feel somewhat discouraged by the lack of sales, or even the lack of "watchings." The number of views mean  nothing after a while. I know that Craig is working like crazy to help us get established, but other than that, there is not a lot more to post about. A previous member has mentioned the Search a few times, and I think until that is improved, we are kind of stuck. The improvements on the photos are nice, but whatever algorithm creates the square look, is actually problematic on the front page. One of my items was featured, but because of the square style, the price closest to my item was that of a far more expensive item. I understand, but would a buyer see that and not look closer? Don't want to gripe, but I know there are still a lot  more kinks to be worked out.

I usually post more on the google + forum. I like it better. I am still listing items when I can and check my shops every day. Other then that I am not doing too much here. I wish we had a cart for this site, specially for shoppers. I think most people are use to seeing a cart and the lack of one might be why there are not a lot of buyers?

Well, I've got many other things going on, fortunately and unfortunately, so I am spread pretty thin. [crazy] Been that way for a while, and I expect it to continue for a while.[smile] I think I saw your acct on Twitter last night, @skydove, and followed you.

I found out about Polyvore a few months ago and have been posting there, and find it interesting. I have posted some Artyah shops items in my sets there.

No cart? OMG, I was not aware of this. Yes, this is a problem and I hope it will be addressed in the rebuild.

He said it will. It was originally said to be put in place before holiday shopping, initially, but that got changed with the new platform build.

As for posting - I have a hard time browsing 2 forums - for the very few users we have, diluting their efforts between 2 forums decreases the posts IMHO.

To compete with other online platforms, having a shopping cart is essential and I look forward to seeing it in the rebuild. Other than that, I've never been too active on the forums, but I'm listing new items when I have the time and doing the Twitter thing. Getting views but no sales. [frown]

How long does it take you to create an avg sized set? I saw Polyvore yrs ago and I too thought it was interesting. I never used it, because it seemed too time-consuming.

Never heard of Folksy Barb. Have you visited their site? Is it handmade?
