Hershey is a Chinese SharPei. He is the 4th one my son has hat. The first one died when the vet gave it a Raybes and a shot to put it to sleep at the same time. Vet paid for the dog so he got a black one and named it Cody. He lived for 11 years and then we went way over in Texas and got another one which we named Barney. We all loved Barney. He was so loveable and would come from my sons house and actually take his paw and knot at our back door for use to let him in. One day my son went to the local donut shop where e usually went on Saturdays. Barney a;ways stood at my sons jeep while my son drank a cup of coffee. All at once out of nowhere a pit bull grabbed him and would not turn loose. When they finally got him to let go my son grabbed Barney and sped off to the vet but he died while they were working on him. That was a devistating blow to the 3 of us. So after quite a while my son got the one we have now and his name is Hershey. He will never replace Barney in our eyes but he is a very loveable dog also The first picture is Barney and the 2nd one is Hershey

Where would we be without our pets?! Cute dogs. Such expressive faces.

I am sorry to hear about your son's dog. I am a big dog lover and couldn't imagine that happening to me. It happened to my friend when he was taking his dog for a walk. A pit bull attacked him and his little dog. I bet that was terrifying. He is a little man and he fought the dog to get his dog back. I know that people love pit bulls and say they aren't any different than any other dog if they are trained. Thing is you never know and when they do bite it's all over. Their jaws can put the grip of I don't know how many pounds but it was a lot and their jaws lock and it is impossible to open their mouths. Just when you said that I thought of this little glass jar I have to list.
