I realize I can add different shipping options including international (non-USA) shipping, but how does this work for the customer when they check out? Do they select any shipping option offered or are shipping options based on their shipping address...for example, a non USA shipping address can only choose an "international shipping" option? Thanks for your help!

Hi, It has just cost me $1.50 to find the answer to this for you, still the site currently needs the funds.
I just "purchased" an item from my vintage shop and had to choose the relevant postage option.
Out of curiosity I then "continued shopping" instead of paying and "purchased" a second item from the same shop and it added the two shipping prices together which would be correct for two different shops but for one shop you can probably combine shipping so I will edit my "thank you for ordering note" to this effect.
Hope this helps __________________

I state in my policies that I always combine shipping when possible (almost always) and refund any excess over $1.00.

Lesley Fry, I do the same. I sell vintage and shipping charges vary SO much that it is impossible to use "shipping with another item". In 10 years, I've never had any complaints.
