Hi Everyone,

So, I received an email the other day. I usually get many emails every day asking me to put items in our site. Most are from manufactures. Those are round filed.

But this email stood out. They were not asking me to put their watches, carpets, toasters, etc... etc... into our site. I do get that all the time from manufactures.

They have written a blog about all the selling sites that are the alternative to selling on etsy and I think there are about 10 in this blog.

ArtYah is at the bottom of the pile. We are the anchor. In bowling, being the anchor bowler is a well respected position.

So, if you all have a moment, please check out this link:

Thank you,

Craig

I was on Etsy for years and have just read the link you suggested.  It sure sounds great to me and doesn't every person or site start at the bottom?  I hope ArtYah really takes off and I believe it will or else I would not be here.  Continue your great work and GO ARTYAH!!!!!!!!

What a great promo for Artyah. Thank you for putting up the link to the blog. I am totally invested in our Artyah community. It is not only a good commercial venture, it is a venture with heart and soul.

I am hoping for the best here with the new updates that will be installed. Sadly I have tried almost all the venues in that blog and ended up with no sales. Etsy is the only place I am getting sales. I am just hoping for the best here.

Nice article and great that Artyah is included. They wrote favorably and honestly about our site. I like how they touted the alternatives as working along with Etsy shops. Despite the massive problems, many are still loyal to Etsy. If they can be led to see Artyah as an addition, more might be willing to open here. Some can even specialize here, in a way that they may have not at Etsy, through creating an AY boutique shop. It's a great opportunity to try out new brands and niche marketing.

My names Phil, I'm the author of the article!

I managed to find this forum by looking through our traffic analytics. It showed we had quite a few clicks from this forum. I thought I'd come say hi, thanks for the feedback and I'm glad you all liked it!

Artyah is at the bottom for no particular reason. I'd be more than happy to move it up the top of the list, too!

I'm truly happy to hear that you liked the article. From a personal point of view, my writing has changed a lot over the last 6 months. As someone who used to sell online myself, I found that I was great at writing a story, not so good at explaining facts. I feel this article is somewhat neutral in that aspect.

Plus, Google really likes this article! If you type 'sites like Etsy' into Google, our article is in 6th position. That basically means a lot of people read and it hopefully, a lot of people will check out Artyah. Fingers crossed.

From the little I know about Artyah, I like. It genuinely seems like a community that wants to help each other. In this day and ages, it's those features that help bring success in any way, shape or form.

Keep up the great work, but Artyah sellers and the Artyah team! You're onto a good thing and I'll keep my eyes on your progress!

Thanks for visiting us here, Phil! We look forward to more interest in AY because of your article. You're very kind to offer to move AY up the list, and to share that it was at the bottom for no particular reason. Wishing you continued success in all that you do!

Hi Phil and welcome and thank you for including Artyah in your article.

As you will see Artyah are a friendly community of sellers who help each other out where we can and discuss what happens with and on the site.  If we have requests they get listened to and as a result what was initially a shop for a small group of friends is growing into what I believe has the potential to be a major selling platform.  Especially when the new site build is finished and released as that will have more features for buyers and sellers than are currently possible .
