My ended listings disappeared.  I wanted to relist them and had about a dozen. This morning I have only 3 left.

Julie

Go to Listings and click on Unsold or Ended.  They should be there.  [smile]

Hi 123Gemstones,

My listings disappeared as well and I asked Craig about it. His response was:

"I do believe that any expired listings older than 30 days may have been purged from our server.
That is a general maintenance that helps the server move quicker."

I do not know if this applies to you, but maybe that is what happened to yours as well. I do not know how old yours were, but I know mine had been sitting there for a while. I now have only two active listings. It would have been nice to have the expired listings available. However,  I intended to tweak and change my listings anyway, so I do not mind too much that I have to start from scratch.

I hope this helps.

Merry Christmas!

Expired listings stay on E. until deleted and they should here too. I have not relisted a lot of yarn because without being able to rearrange, it will look like I just sell yarn, not my knitting. But I also do not want to have to relist everything once the new programming is ready, whenever that may be.

I totally agree.  I end some of my things if they have sold elsewhere and want to relist them here when I make another, especially my keychains.  I don't have the funds to keep a lot of extra supplies on hand so I have to wait until I have more leather to make more and relist.

I also wish we could just deactivate for a time and not have to end the listing and then relist.

thank you Maryann it isn't convenient to redo a listing, I like the ability to relist an item that has expired.

I also figured out that I am not getting recharged for 4 listings, they didn't show up until December 15th in my account and I renewed them in early and mid-November.  Just got confused.

I had about 40 to 50 unique listings that I hadn't had time to relist for vintage items disappear.  This is literally days of work for me to relist each item as descriptions all need to be recreated, items need to be hauled out of storage and remeasured and weighed.  I am less than impressed as there was nothing in the FAQ's about this and there is currently no warning with the expired listing notification to warn that listings will be deleted after 30 days.

Oh no I didn’t know this was going on. I have two homes and when I leave one I end the listings for my other account. I have expected that like Etsy when I returned that the listings would be there ready to renew. I understand about the sever having to run quickly but I would have been really upset if I had expected my listing to be there and they were gone. Now that I know this I am going to copy and paste my descriptions. I usually state the measurements of my items in the description instead in the area provided to put size. As long as I know this I will copy and paste my listing descriptions and save them on my computer. It is no big deal to post the pictures or put in the tags again but the listing descriptions would take forever and as one seller noted it would be a real hassle to have to measure everything all over again. Perhaps when the site starts being more profitable for Craig he can pay a company to store the listings to some cloud service.

My ended listings that I was "saving" until I took new pics have disappeared.  I'm not real happy about it.  This was never a problem on Etsy.  The expired listings there were always available, no matter how long it had been.  Again, I don't want or expect Artyah to mirror Etsy, but some of these kinds of things seem like common sense.
