Hello Sellers:

If you are on Bonanza, please consider joining my Pinterest board for Bonz handmades sellers: https://www.pinterest.com/ArtsyCraftery/bonanza-handmades-sellers/

I do love Bonanza, but am sorry that it is not handmades-dedicated. We makers get lost amongst all of the others. Trying to give us more exposure as a united front. [smile]

Board Guidelines  For Bonanza.com Handmades Sellers: any handmade art, craft, designs, writing/published products, etc. Please make sure your pics are bright and clear as possible. Only 3 pics per day, please. You can pin yours and others. Welcome & Thank you! ♥♥♥

Not very good, but not very good anywhere at this time. Main complaint about Bonanza is no traffic, having to buy a subscription membership for more exposure, and very little advertising done by the site. You have to target your market and drive your traffic like anywhere else.

Like I've always shared around the Web, Bonanza has great features for free booths (shops). No listing fee, just the usual FVF, 3.5%, which they call the economy level of advertising.

You don't have to buy a subscription, but you can opt in to higher FVF = more exposure through higher advertising levels. I am using the 9% level, where my listings are shared at Google Shopping, Bonanza Promotions and Bonanza Affiliates. There are 3 more levels above that. I only pay 9% if a sale originates through one of those avenues. Otherwise, I still pay the basic 3.5%.

The Silver, Gold, Platinun, Titan memberships are out of my budget. I think those who do well with them, especially Platinum and Titan, are the resellers, drop-shippers, and those who sell electronics, fashion brands, etc. You know, the usual high-volume sellers.

The main thing that I like about Bonanza is that it is a great place that I use for my base of operations. They don't micro-manage or bother me about my free booths through annoying up-sell tactics. The forums are lively (though unfortunately they discontinued the crafting forums before I joined), listing is unlimited (well I've heard the limit is 10,000 [eek]), multiple shops can be connected through a central admin panel, unlimited shop categories in left-hand sidebar, shop video, product variations, nice shop design, multiple product pics, etc.

Out of all of the venues I've visited or where I've been a member, Bonanza is the best non-handmades-dedicated place for me.
