It took me a few trials to find the right size for the avatar, if you are having the same problem, I think I finally got it 50x50 pixels.

Lynne mine was looking very fuzzy, I didn't like, I think I did it about 10 different sizes and in the end this was the one that looked best, I don't think we can get a very clear image though.

Is this why my picture doesn't show up in the forums? How would I get it the right size?

I am not sure what the problem could be with your image, I use photoshop to resize if you don't have an editing program this info might help you

I don't resize any of my photos that I have in my shops.
All I do with them is brighten and sharpen.
The only time I resize my avatar is so that it fits on other sites.
If I remember correctly I had to resize my avatar for ArtYah but, don't quote me on that as I did it a year ago [tongue]

I found a note somewhere (in Getting Started?) that says it should be 275 x 275 at 72 dpi.

But my avatar looks waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too big. Should I shrink it?

Your avatar looks perfect, I think is clearer because is a picture not a graphic. Mine was looking terrible at that size. I am talking about the avatar here not in the shop.

Well done Rebecca, I like the emoji you choose [smile]

I suggest you add the signature and link to your shop next.

I don't know why this is writing in blue now.
