We have been very busy and have neglected the forums and providing updates. We have taken a few steps backwards. I guess we call them growing pains. We were working on our new site build and we had hoped that we would have it completed within 6 months and that was a few months ago. So, we are starting back at square one with our new site build. Programmers are not very easy to come by. When we find one that will code for us, they do not always stick around for too long. Some have taken advantage of us over the last couple years and led us to believe that we could fix our shipping and shopping cart and then after a few weeks or longer we find that we cannot improve those features. So, we decided a new platform is the best next step. We are currently planning out the various tasks and will implement them as we go. We are looking at a timeline of about 6 months. We do have a programmer and we are signing a contract with them. This will ensure that both parties will work together on this for the duration of the task. We hope get this started as soon as next week and we will keep you all informed of updates as we go. Thank you, ArtYah customer service

Thanks for update and it is good to hear that you have a programmer you can work with. I guess it is a bit like like finding a good *plumber/electrician/accountant/solicitor whatever. One who capable of doing the tasks you require well and within time and budget.
Hope you have got over the earlier problems and that everyone who is listing here is now paying their bills so that you can cover all the server and coding costs I am sure there are many of us who would be happy to help if we can by testing a new platforms before they go live even if we cannot help with making it. We already have a very usable and pretty site and you have mentioned that customer numbers are increasing so us sellers can continue to do our bit to help Artyah grow by listing and advertising via social media, word of mouth etc. Maybe also trying to persuade Americans especially to offer worldwide shipping as it seems most of the visitors, according to Alexa anyway, are from the UK. I have seen things I like but sellers state they only ship within US so they do not get a sale. It would be interesting to know where most of the buyers are coming from? *The reason plumber comes to mind first is we recently had one come to come to connect the pipework to our replaced gas tank and connect to the existing boiler. He told us the boiler would not light and as it was so old we would need a new one. I did not like him so contacted someone else who eventuallydiscovered the first one had turned the very tiny screw off that lets the gas through that should never have been touched. We now have someone we can trust to be thorough and methodical. __________________

Thanks for the update, hopefully by the end of next summer it will be ready. Just in time for all the holidays! I can be patient for the new site, just make sure to do any fixing/tweaking before you launch it. __________________ http://www.artyah.com/seller/catwands - supplies

I know how hard it is if the engineer developer is not good enough. My husband is working as an engineer developer and he works 10 hours a day at least to fix the issues for their company. A lot of times he has to get up at 1am or 2am to fix the issues. He is doing three persons' job. I hope Artyah will find somebody like him.
I can't wait artyah to get the new website to fix the price issue, shopping cart, product sections issues. I do believe after all these problem resolved, we will have more customers come in. If by then, we have enough orders here and I will move my Etsy shop here. I like a real handmade website. So nice and clean! Best wishes! __________________ Flower girl tutu dresses/Mermaid tail blankets/Newborn outfits for photo props https://www.artyah.com/seller/kohagww248
