Thank you for the update, Craig.
I hope your mother recovers easily.
And wishing the same to your designer whose family member needed their help.
Yes, we do understand that life gets in the way of our best laid plans. I think most of the frustration was not having contact so this update is helpful and encouraging.

My mom has been hospitalized and is recovering.  I expect her full recovery to take a few months if not longer.

For ArtYah, our latest update is that we are continuing to work on the new site and we are making progress with it. Timeline is not a guarantee as things come up that are not anticipated.

One of our designers also had a family member that needed their assistance and that also takes time to recover from and throws the balance of work load off for our developers.

We do not have a time line that we can guarantee at this time. I expect that the end of the year is now more promising.

Our current ArtYah 1.0 site still functions very well. We are putting on new buyers and sellers on a daily basis.

I have been told by sellers that their items are coming up in Google searches and they are making sales.

ArtYah is safer than ever before.

With our very intense IP blacklist check and email verification process, we have reduced the number of incidences down to almost zero and keeping the bad guys out is our number one importance.

So, there you have it. Hope this information is helpful. It is the best update that I have so far.

Thank you,

Craig AY customer service

Craig, thank you for updating us!  Silence can make us paranoid sometimes.  Praying for your mother and the designer's family member.  Thank you for everything you've done and what you're still working on.  God Bless!

Good morning every one.
I've just noticed that we can now upload as many as 10 pictures for the photo gallery of our listings. Sometimes that one or two extra picture shows another aspect of the item. So changes are on the way.
Have a great weekend.

Thank you for the update Craig.
So wishing that your mother heals quickly!
I am still a great believer in this site, and I do love the front page when I sign in.
It is really lovely.

Aloha!

Hi Everyone,

Artyah is working on our product pages for our 2.0 version.
We are also in the process of hiring on a 2nd coder to help us with our pages  that need to go to our developers.

My Mother is doing much better. She is in managed care and will hopefully be heading home in the beginning of August.
Huge improvements there.

We are back on track and working harder than ever to get ArtYah 2.0 up and running. Hope to have something soon, but I still believe we are looking at the end of this year for our new version.

Thanks everyone for your patience while we have been working through everything.

Good to hear. I've recently joined up and really like what I see so far on here. Keep up the good work and thanks for providing an alternative. I'm going to add more and more over the next few months.

That's great news, Craig! I'll be relisting hopefully this weekend, and setting up another shop later in August.

It's been a while since we have done any forum updates.

We are currently working on shop manager, shop setup and listing items pages.

We hope to have more updates and move along with our site at a quicker pace.

Thank you,

Crai

Hi All,

ArtYah is still alive and well. We now have over more than half of our new build functional and we are continuing to work on our listing manager.

Thank you to everyone that has supported us with their love and kindness!! We appreciate it very much.

We are working very hard to get the next portion of of new build to be functional by the end of the year or first quarter of next.

Time and costs are a huge reason for our delays. But in the end it will have been well worth the wait :-)

Thank you,

Craig

Thank you for the update, Craig.
It is hard for some of the sellers to hold the fort when traffic seems low and sales lower.
But we also know that something done right takes time.
Personally, I still believe that the handmade crafts and hand picked vintage items and supplies here on Artyah will have it's own niche client base as more other sites are chasing the dollar with imported mass made items.
Quality and class will be recognized.
The day will come when we will be able to say "I remember when....".
Take care.

I think a holiday banner might be helpful. Glad to hear the update.
