Does anyone think it is inappropriate for a seller to post on "ArtYah Sell & Buy Handmade, Antiques Group" FACEBOOK page who doesn't have a shop on Artyah?

That does not seem right. There must be a page for the venue they do sell in unless they are spreading their net wide hoping to be seen. There is another page for Etsy, Artyah, Artfire etc. so maybe they thought they had posted to that page.

Yep... I agree. Seller provided a link to her Etsy shop. I asked if she had a shop on Artyah. She indicated that she did NOT. I am thinking the Admin of the FACEBOOK page might want to remove the post. Just my two cents....

I agree that this is a possibility. FBook really does not make it easy to post to the correct group of your choice. I wish a window opened up with a list of all groups I'm in, with the full name and page header of each displayed. It's frustrating to type in letters or try to remember the complete name of a group to type in.

on your fb home page there should be a list name on the left that says explore and under that is 'groups'.  All of your groups should be located there

Thanks, Julie, I know. That's for when you post manually to the group, uploading images from your computer.

What I'm referring to is when I share from the listing, and the small FB window opens. There's no group list there, just a blank space for the group name to be typed into. Can't recall the odd names of my groups. When I begin typing in letters, suggested group names show up, but the complete name doesn't even show. Some group names are similar. Without being able to see the entire name, it causes problems. May post to one group more than desired. Others may go neglected.

It would be better if entire list showed up in that window and I could select one of my groups to post to, like at Pinterest.
