ArtYah official group on Facebook - You can post products for sale, and add direct links. It's a public group, this way we can let the public see what our AY sellers have available. Outside links will be deleted. This is an ArtYah only group.

You can't use photos taken from your Etsy page as they contain Etsy coding. Hopefully, you still have the originals on your computer and you should use those to post to Artyah, then copy from there to Facebook or Google+ or to pin.

I have a FB Business page. If I post on the Artyah page I have to do it as my personal page.

I am instead liking items and will be sharing a few items to my business pg. as my business page.

Hope this will work for me and others.

As a Vintage seller mainly I will be promoting more Vintage or not.

Lots of great items being added to Artyah for sure.

Is this a different F/B group to the "ArtYah Shops"?

Just applied to join. FB Admin may be interested in removing post associated with Etsy link... Regardless, looking forward to becoming an official member on FB page!

Why aren't more people posting on our facebook page?  I just started and feel like I'm "hogging" it.  Or is there another page I should be looking for?

Good question! I feel the same way and stopped posting as often as I would like. Is there no interest? Is there another venue we should be using to promote? Twitter account seems to have taken a "back seat" as well.

Vintagerepeats & SingAlongSoap: I don't do anything with Facebook because I'm not on Facebook. (:  I'm not sure if that's the reason for others not participating.

Glad I saw this article.  I was so glad we had a place to show and share others and ourselves.  I use to post on the Artyah Facebook page everyday and  I would share  others to some of my media sources.  Very few took interest in using this page.      I  lost interest a long time ago as I feel there is not any sharing just "liking" and  most of the time not even that. The "liking" has no exposure benefit to anyone.    I plan to give it a try and post some new items soon but I  sadly believe it has no  effect on any exposure to get buyers as nothing is shared to the social media sources.    I can see this not only on my items being posted but many of the sellers who do use this page.     Would love Artyah to get the exposure  it needs so it could grow and have great results for its sellers.

well I would have to post from my farm page which I don't like to do.  I don't mix the two.  If I could use my business page I would post.

Thank you for your replies.  I'm not sure that it helps with sales much, but at least I won't feel like I'm "hogging" the page. I haven't made any sales here since I left Etsy last June/July, so I'm trying to do whatever I can.  I don't do Twitter.  I have a personal Instagram account, by only share with friends.  I started on Etsy in 2007 and did quite well until 2015ish, when they started all of their shenanigans.  I finally had enough and left.  If anyone has a second, I'd love to hear any feedback you may have about my shops.

Your shops look great and you have bright photos too, but you really should take advantage of the Artyah shop sliders at the top. Great way to showcase collages of what you sell and do as well. You can also create banners that speak about specials and sales and add them to the sliders.
