I'm curious as to what will be happening with the featured items that we paid an additional .50 for. The slots for these seem to have disappeared with the new format and I had just paid the extra to renew a bunch of them. Anybody know what the plan is?

The featured items are listed there right on the front page and are random.
There are 3 rows separated by pictures. There is also a "see more" link that when a person clicks
takes them to a full page of featured listed that is the entire featured section that everyone has paid for. They all come up randomly on the home page and on the see more page there is a filter that can also adjust them from newest, ending soon, high to low, low to high.
This may or may not stay, but that is how we have it for now.

I appreciated the fact that your keeping this************** handmade********one of the few venues that are these days, handmade is becoming almost a lost art.
Many blessings to you and much success on your new platform.

Speaking of handmade...............when you have time (lol) would it be possible to place all of the "vintage silk scarves" into Vintage instead of including them with hand knit and hand crocheted scarves.

Thank-you!

I am sure that is the ones that are listing them. I notice that there is a lot of antiques and vintage  listed in a lot of the other categories. I wish they would just list them where they belong. In  the correct categories

Hi Mary - I think the problem might be that the search is picking up on the words "hand knitted" or "scarf" as when I search for hand knitted scarf I see alot of my items such as bags, shawls, which I haven't put under the scarf category .....and don't even go there with "hand knitted hat" 😄😄

First time on here, so hope I'm doing this right, and in the right place.

Perhaps this has been noted, but on the home page, under the groupings of the  "Featured Seller" pictures of "Shop the Market Place," "Find Unique Gifts," and "Latest Collections," ArtYah is using the Subtitle for a description of the picture rather than the Title we have entered.  This is fine, though I'm not sure why the subtitle takes precedence over the title.  However, some sellers have not filled in this subtitle category and so their photo ends up with no title.  Just a heads-up to give your .50 investment for exposure every advantage.

Also those pictures on those 3 featured seller places have slightly blurry photos still, both on my computer and iPhone.  No "refreshing" clears them any.  I know everything is still in progress, so this may be remedied soon.  Hope so, since the pictures play such a huge part in acquiring a sale.

Good catch. I wondered why one item had no title. Many don't use the subtitle so, IMO, this is a problem that I hope will be addressed.

Thanks for the update about the new site, and I do love the updated homepage much more than the last one.

Thank you, Craig for the update. My son is a website developer such as you, and he's been working on his site for over 2 years, and still hasn't launched it. You took the plunge and did so. I'm sorry to see people are unhappy but you will get that anywhere.

I know it takes quite a while to set up websites, and ArtYah is certainly no exception. You are making great strides and have been doing so at a rabbit's pace for the last several months. I think your decision to build a new platform is an excellent one. You are working on offering ArtYah members a better opportunity that does' involve "testing", as is the practice on another site. I commend your courage, your transparency and your ability to see a problem and get it fixed quickly. And you have the best customer service I have seen in quite a while.

Good luck with the change, and I'll be here.

Beth
