Hi Everyone,

Updates to our new build are moving along nicely.

We have almost completed much of the home page and the entities that surround its workings. We have created a page as one registers to be able to sign in/up with Google and Facebook.

There will be many new features to this design that will allow one to stay signed in until one signs out. Another nice feature.

We will have more updates as we receive them. We will be moving into the shop design pages very soon.

Thank you,

Craig

I don't know if this is the right area to write this.  But I'm already here.   I have not sold anything so I would like to know are key words important!  Are they kicking in.  I would like some comments regarding artists specifically painters on canvas.

I don't think anyone has found me?  Yes I'm on social media.  I don't have a clue if anyone outside of artyah has seen my work.  Are their buyers inside Artyah.

I don't know what else to do.  I have began listing again.  As I had taken a break.  But in anycase I make sure I have key words.   and the description is good etc.

What else can I do

Thank you for reply

Hi shosh67.
I just had a look at your paintings. Are they prints or original oils? I noticed you had five of the dancers available which made me wonder if they were prints.

I read more into your description and see they are prints. I think maybe that word could be in the title. But the prints are very pretty and the colors are vibrant. I'm going to pin this picture to my Artyah board on Pinterest so maybe you will get a bit more exposure.

Go to Categories and you'll see a forum for Discussions, where you can post these types of questions and other things. You can post or start your own discussion or comment on others.

Your paintings are lovely. Reminds me of Matisse. I pinned Apples In Bowl at Find Us On Artyah: https://www.pinterest.com/aboutthebuttons/find-us-on-artyah/

For title I'd use something like: Apples Oil Painting, Fruit Original Artwork, Food Wall Art, Stretched Canvas Painting

Then I'd copy it exactly to the beginning of my description (Etsy forum tip), and make sure as many of those phrases as possible are used in the key words spaces (Etsy forum tip), rearranging them however necessary to make them fit.

Also your description is pretty bare-bones. You could add some vitality to it by sharing why you painted it, why it's special, and unique tidbits related to it, etc. It varies, I think, as to how much of the description is scanned by search robots, but it's worth it to fill out a description more.

It's my understanding also that regular tweaking of listings' titles and descriptions is part of building SEO. How often is up to you. If you feel like you're not getting visibility, editing titles/descriptions for words and phrases that better describe your work and that uses more terms that shoppers search for is important.

Good luck to you.

I don't know if it applies here but for my own site I use Yoast, which gives scores (or red- not good, orange - good, green -best) for both SEO and readability.  They have lots of information on their site if you want to delve into it.  One day I will get around to redoing my descriptions here as well based on what I am learning there.

The main thing is to entice customers here and let them know about Artyah so we get sales, then they tell others about the fantastic group of sellers here and so on 😉

I've seen your shop! Your artwork is amazing! I love it! My shop is in vacation mode right now, due to"no sales". I will be back though, eventually. So, don't give up!
