I tend to lean more towards dogs.
I have a cat but she just wants to go outside and do her thing all day and then come in and sleep all night.
My 2 pups are the complete opposite.
they demand a lot of attention.  Post some pics of your activities with your fur baby.IMG_7665.jpg

Your dogs have pretty coats, Judy! [thumb]I don't have pets, but I loved going to my sister's house to keep her 2 cats when she was away. Black and white Bogie had to be put to sleep after spaying/neutering caused him to become ill over time. Vet said nothing could be done and that he sees a lot of that with male cats. Brown, white and black Sheeba was taken to an adoption pet shelter because after a year of marriage for my sister, Sheeba began to urinate into her new husband's work shoes, and they could not stop her. I miss them both. [bawl]

[rofl] Never heard that before! Cute. And often accurate too! Of course many dogs don't, I think.[smile]

I saw that on a poster once and thought how true.  Mine don't normally drool except, around dinner time when they get excited because something good is coming their way, especially the black one he is part Lab and they have a tendency to drool when excited.

Of course, cats would rule for some, whether dogs drooled or not! [smile]

Dogs are the best. Used to have cats too when I lived in the country. My cats in the country were like dogs. I never had a litter box. They came in to the rec room and stayed as long as they wanted to hang out. When they had to go out they went to the door and meowed. Would sleep in there overnight and never an accident. Now I have all dogs because I live in a suburban area where cats can’t run free. Also got bit by a friends cat and almost had to have my right arm amputated. I was in the hospital 3 days and had to come home with a an IV line that went to the top of my heart. Gave myself IV antibiotics every 6 hours for 4 weeks. Still have a large lump on my thumb where the cat bit through the joint. Not too fond of cats now. Never have liked a litter box in the house. I don’t care how often you clean them they still smell. I also don’t like the cat litter spreading all around the box. I believe though that some people are cat people and some people are dog people so whatever makes you happy. Here are pics of my three dogs. I only had two but rescued the little furry one a few months ago when she was found abandoned in Hurricane Irma. Poor thing was severely abused so obviously someone thought that it would be the perfect time to dump her. She wasn’t potty trained and oh what a time I had with that. Three months later she has gotten the idea but it was a long three months. She was very unsocialized and everytime you came near her she cowered over waiting for someone to beat her. I was told she is a full bred Australian Silky Terrier. Now she is the love of our lives and my other two pups love her.
